In this assignment we were told to pick a topic and explain it to the class. Meaning teaching them the who,what,when,where, and why my topic was psoriasis which is a noncontagious skin condition that produces plaques of thickened, scaling skin. I was able to teach my class what it looked like, why it happened, and even some possible treatments for the skin condition.

Debate
Houston Urban Debate League Championship This tournament was the last of the season we argued a topic which was Resolved: On balance, economic globalization benefits worldwide poverty reduction. This debate topic offered an opportunity to see different perspectives as we have to be able to argue for and against the topic. We were able to communicative and defend our position to both our opponents and judges. I was a semifinalist which was the farthest a HAIS team made in my division so although my partner and I did not win the whole tournament we were proud I rank this college ready. |
